The team at Ardán is excited to announce that we are updating the Screen West website! We are giving this Galway screen industry resource a new logo, brand identity, and restructuring / updating the website content to fit the needs of screen talent in 2025.
New Screen West Website Branding & Structure
The new Screen West logo and branding brings it in line with the other initiatives Ardán manages, WRAP, Galway City of Film, and the National Talent Academy for Film & TV. In the same way that Galway Film Centre became Ardán in 2022 – to be more inclusive of talent within film, TV, games, animation, and more – we want Screen West to do the same.
Screen West intends to be a resource for local information on the Galway AV industry, inclusive of Talent, Companies, Locations, Permissions, Funding, Facilities & More. The website and resources are managed by Ardán with the support of Galway County Council.

Galway Screen Talent Database Callout
As part of this rebrand, we are creating an up-to-date database for screen talent working in film, TV, games, animation, and VP who are habitually resident in Galway (6 months or more per year). This callout is for Galway-based professional directors, writers, producers, crew, casting, artists, programmers, accountants, marketers, performers, working in or intending to work in the Galway and Irish screen industry who would like to be spotlighted.
The purpose of this database is to highlight the talent working in the screen sector in Galway. Ardán reserves the right to manage the content provided & quality of information as we see fit. We may need to contact you regarding editorial issues before publishing.
This screen talent database will feature on the new Screen West website.
Note: if you were previously featured on the old Screen West website, your information is no longer GDPR compliant. If you would like to be featured you will need to resubmit your information via the form. All applicants can submit via the Microsoft Form linked here.
Screen West Website & Database Queries
This is the first iteration of the new database, and the Ardán team will be amending as we go to ensure we are highlighting Galway talent well. This public-facing information may be used by other Ardán managed initiatives e.g. WRAP, Galway City of Film, and NTA Film & TV. We also may share this database with legitimate third parties looking for crew.
