“Film Studies bling-bling” is a new podcast from Dr. Anna Luise Kiss. Created in Potsdam, the podcast takes a look at hidden and well-known treasures, big and small diamonds from Film Studies. She also gives insights into her research project “The cinematic face of cities”.

Day of German Unity in Potsdam

Potsdam celebrated the German Unity from 5th September until 4th October 2020. 50 films were shown for free, and in addition, there were outdoor exhibitions focusing on Potsdam’s Film heritage, accompanied by a 3D art installation.

Potsdam new Boulevard des Films

Beginning in 2021, the central Potsdam pedestrian zone will receive the “Boulevard des Films”. A jury has selected 50 Films that were shot in Potsdam. The films, produced between 1912 and 2015, will be visualized on the walkway.
