Call for Entries from UNESCO Creative Cities

Green Visions Potsdam is a unique festival combining film, science and a market for sustainable living, which spotlights environmental issues surrounding the future of our planet. The festival informs and entertains with films and in-depth discussions on wide-ranging topics related to climate change and what we can do about it.

The first edition of the festival was held in 2024, where four short films from Łódź (Poland), Galway (Ireland), Vincente-Lopez (Argentina) and Potsdam were selected and shown. For the next edtition in 2025, we welcome short film submissions from the international UNESCO Creative Cities Network and extend the creative fields to Film, Media Arts and Gastronomy. If selected, the films will be invited to take part in a special section of the festival, which will take place in Potsdam from 22nd until 25th of May 2025.

What kind of films?

  • Short Films: all genres
  • max. length 20 minutes
  • made in or by filmmakers from a UNESCO Creative City of Film, Media Arts or Gastronomy
  • year of productions from 2022 till 2025
  • topic: sustainability, nature, environmentalprotection, climate change
  • dialogue book in english
