Free admission, let’s go to the movies & celebrate women in film:
On Tuesday, 4th of November 2025, the international cooperation project FEMALE LANDSCAPE kicks off in Potsdam and focuses on women in animated film. The project was launched in 2022 between the UNESCO Film Cities of Łódź (Poland) and Potsdam to work towards the UN Sustainability Goal 5 Gender Equality. This year, the short film program features animated films and filmmakers from Vicente Lopez (Argentina), Valladolid (Spain), Wellington (New Zealand), Łódź, and Potsdam.
The screening is followed by a film discussion with animation film directors Felicia Bergström (alumni of the Film University Babelsberg, Germany) and Zuzanna Szyszak (Poland), moderated by Lisa Nawrocki. Afterwards will be time for networking at 8 p.m. in the cinema’s bar.
