Since April 15, 2026, there’s a new, browser-based app for Potsdam: FILM.SCOPE. The app is part of the Film Heritage project of the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF in cooperation with the Potsdam Film Museum and MicroMovie Media GmbH and expands the digital educational offerings. The app is free and recommended for young people aged 12 and up, residents, tourists and film enthusiasts.

The Potsdam Film Museum’s collection, including its open storage facility, will now become a vibrant learning environment with the App, connecting cinematic locations in the city with film facts, a playlist and a quiz. Even if you are not in Potsdam, you can discover the rich film history and places from where ever you are. The app is in German and English.
